CCIC is one of the Chinese organizations accredited to issue China Organic Product Certificates, and among them is one of the few which has direct presence in Europe. Our local presence in Europe and our resourcefulness, can greatly reduce the difficulty and cost for European producers by providing localized service and direct bridging to China.
According to the requirements stipulated in the regulations on the national organic product certification, organic products to be sold in China must have the organic product certificate issued by an accredited certification body in China.
The organic product regulation and certification is governed and supervised by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA). The China National Accreditation Service (CNAS) implements their regulations to provide accreditation.
The standard system for organic products consists of “China National Standard for Organic Product” (GB/T 19630-2011), which sets out basic rules for organic production, processing, labeling, marketing and management system. It applies to the manufacturing of all-natural products and the producers are subject to annual auditing.
CCIC Europe offers in cooperation with CQC (China Quality Certification Center) organic certification services for European applicants. As a branch of CCIC Group, CQC has been approved by CNCA and accredited by CNAS to provide organic certification in compliance with the GB/T 19630 standard.
