With regards to the Chinese standards for the inspection, quarantine, supervision and administration for imported solid wastes as raw materials, new rules have been issued for the registration of domestic consignees. The detailed rules have been formulated by the General Administration of Customs and have gone into effect from August 1, 2018
- Enterprises that are currently registered as domestic consignee of imported solid wastes as raw materials and specialize in processing and utilization, should apply for a new registration without delay. The new application should be made to the Customs where the enterprise has its industrial and commercial registration. Registrations of domestic consignees with specializations in trade shall automatically become invalid.
