CCIC Europe Market Access Technical Team is building a bridge between customers in China and EU

- CCIC Europe EU Market Access Technical Team is aiming to help Chinese Personal Protective Equipment (PPE, such as protective masks (type FFP2 or FFP3), protective glasses and face shields, protective gloves and garments, etc.) enter the EU market in compliance with EU standards, while relieving the current shortage of PPE in Europe.

 

On 1st April, ESF (European Safety Federation) announced a declaration about the current PPE situation in Europe, which shows two facts:

  1. There is a large shortage of PPE in Europe because of COVID-19.
  2. The EU market has large amounts of PPE without legal value certificates, the reason of which is the lack of knowledge about EU Legislation on PPE for both manufacturers outside EU and European buyers.

 

Since PPE without legal value certificates cannot be sold and used in Europe, not only manufacturers (including Chinese manufacturers) are suffering from the loss of money, but also European healthcare workers are exposing in high risk of non-sufficient protection for the shortage of PPEs.
