- On 5th October 2019, Zhang Guosheng, the Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of the PRC in the Netherlands, visited CCIC Europe together with the delegation from the department of commerce of Hainan province. During the business meeting the representatives discussed the opportunities for promoting the trade between the Netherlands and China, and also the trade in the Hainan free trade zone (especially the Yangpu development zone). All the representatives unanimously agreed to promote the collaboration on product traceability, testing and product evaluation services in the Hainan free trade zone. Both sides agreed to further collect information on products, markets and policy and to reach an agreement soon on collaboration.
